Over the past twenty years, I have worked in six different laboratories, begining as a student in the Physiology Department (mean topic: Genetic markers and biomarkers of oxidative stress, metabolism of catechol oestrogens and fertility in women) at the Universidad del País Vasco (EHU-UPV).
I then moved to Madrid to work for three years in the Pharmacology Department (mean topic: Hormetic properties of MDMA) at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM).
Subsequently, I began my doctoral thesis in the Psychobiology Department (mean topic: Psychobiology of the incubation of craving) at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED). During my doctoral studies, I completed a research stay at the Donders Institute in the Netherlands.
Afterward, I returned to work at the UCM, this time in the Toxicology Department (mean topic: Neurotoxicity and hepatotoxicity of pesticides).
My last position was a postdoctoral contract at the Institut de Neurosciences de la Timone (mean topic: Development of a CRISPR/Cas9-based tool to inactivate microRNA) in Marseille (2021-2024).
